FAQ

Here are some of the most common questions we get about our private boat tours and private fishing trips. If you don’t find the info you need, drop us a line.

If you’re on Bonaire and staying in Kralendijk (or nearby), yes. Just let us know where you’re staying, and we’ll arrange complimentary transportation for your group. If you’re driving, there is ample free parking just a few steps from the boat.

Yes. You can get yours here. This fee helps protect Bonaire’s most precious natural resources. Exemptions include residents (with an official ID) of Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius, Saba, and children under 12 years old. Cruise ship passengers who are visiting for less than 24 hours are also exempt.

Sure thing. We love our cruise ship visitors! Since every cruise ship has different hours in port, the best thing to do is to contact us with the date you’ll be in port and the timeframe you’ll be on shore. We can create a customized booking based on your schedule, subject to availability on ours.

Yes. The captain is a trained chef and understands the dietary needs of diverse guests. Just let us know when making your booking. We’ll reach out to come up with a plan for food on your excursion that meets your needs.

We are focused on conservation. For commonly caught fish like mahi mahi, barracuda, and tuna, we are happy to give customers a portion of the catch if they wish. The crew will clean and fillet the fish on board and package your share for easy transportation. The rest will go to the crew and local families. If you land a billfish, we will always catch-and-release. But don’t worry! We’ll snap some pics of your catch before release, of course!

As a trained chef and former island restauranteur, the Captain is happy to privately cater a meal with your fresh catch as the main event. Talk to him on your fishing trip to find out more.

Be sure to pack your reef-safe sunscreen, sun-protective clothing, sunglasses, and any sea sickness medication you need (recommended for fishing trips…our leisure trips stay in calm, coastal waters). Don’t forget to purchase your Bonaire Marine Park Nature Tag, as you’ll need it to board the boat.

We’ve got you covered! Our entire team is extremely experienced guiding and teaching people of all ages to explore and enjoy Bonaire’s waters and marine life. We also have life jackets and other floatation aids suitable for kids and adults.
